Raven : Named Fit-Friendly Worksite by American Heart Association

For the fourth year in a row, Raven has received a Fit-Friendly Worksite Award from the American Heart Association. This accomplishment reflects Raven's hard work and commitment to improving team members' health and making the healthy choice the right choice.

The Fit-Friendly Worksites program is a catalyst for positive change. Worksites throughout the nation can be part of the initiative by making the health and wellness of their team members a priority. Raven was recognized as a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association's My Heart. My Life. initiative for:

• Offering employees physical activity support.
• Providing/increasing healthy eating options at the worksite.
• Promoting a wellness culture.
• Implementing at least nine criteria as outlined by the American Heart Association in the areas of physical activity, nutrition and culture.

Team members face obstacles to stay physically active and make healthy diet choices. Some employers help to overcome these challenges by promoting a wellness culture and implementing healthy cultural changes. In the 11-state Midwest Affiliate region, the association recognized 287 worksites that employ approximately 595,000 employees.
