Sanofi SA said Thursday that it has named Viviane Monges as chair of the supervisory board of EUROAPI--its new company focused on active pharmaceutical ingredients for which an initial public offering is expected next year--and that it has made two further appointments to the executive committee.

The French pharma major said it appointed Roy Papatheodorou as executive vice president, general counsel and head of legal, ethics and business integrity. It has named Brendan O'Callaghan as executive vice president, global head of industrial affairs.

Ms. Monges's appointment is with immediate effect, Sanofi said. Mr. Papatheodorou will start in his role on Feb 1, 2022, while Mr. O'Callaghan will begin on Oct. 1.
