SEYMOUR WHYTE RAMPS UP IN VICTORIA

Seymour Whyte Limited (ASX: SWL) (the Group) is pleased to announce that Seymour Whyte Constructions has been awarded the contract for the Chandler Highway upgrade in Melbourne.

Seymour Whyte Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr John Kirkwood said the $55.9 million design and construct contract win was an encouraging sign of' the company's progressive foothold in the Victorian market.

"The Chandler Highway upgrade brings our number of active projects in Victoria to three, and we look forward to announcing further contract awards in the near future."

The Group is actively pursuing opportunities in Victoria's growing infrastructure market as it continues to expand and diversify in line with objectives set out in its 2020 Strategic Plan.

The Chandler Highway project includes the upgrade of the highway between Alphington and Kew, and a new bridge over the Yarra River. Construction is expected to commence in mid-2017.
