Highlights of the third quarter of 2012

LES CHAÎNES CANAL+ posted nationwide audience share of 4.2% in France for the first nine months of 2012. The CANAL+ channel held its audience share steady at 2.9% (down 0.1 points year-on-year) despite an unfavorable sports event calendar (Euro and Olympic Games on terrestrial channels in 2012, whereas the Rugby World Cup was broadcasted on CANAL+ in September 2011). September's performances hit a record high since 2008, with 9.5% subscribers audience share, thus strongly confirming the growing appeal of the channel's offer, driven primarily by the success of its programming pillars: namely Series (records broken by Engrenages Season 4 and Homeland), Movies (Polisse) and Sports (two LIGUE 1 soccer matches per day of championship play).

SECP Group bought the broadcasting and production rights for French track and field competitions for the CANAL+, CANAL+SPORT and SPORT+ channels for a four-year period (2013-2016) from the French Track and Field Federation (Fédération française d'athlétisme): namely, DecaNation, Pro Athlé Tour, French Elite summer championships, French Elite Indoor championships and Indoor Meetings, as well as highlights of the French Cross Country, Running and Trail championships. Subscribers can also follow the performances of the world's top athletes during the Diamond League: the Areva Meeting in Saint-Denis in France and the Herculis Meeting in Monaco.

Revenues

SECP's consolidated revenues at the end of the third quarter of 2012 amounted to ?1,404 million, up 2.0% compared to 2011.

At September 30, 2012, the total portfolio of individual and collective subscriptions to CANAL+ (Mainland France, French overseas territories and departments, and Africa) totaled 5.5 million subscriptions, i.e.an increase of 74,000 compared to the end of September 2011.
