June 21 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is expected to open lower on Wednesday, with futures down 0.22%.
* BERKELEY: Berkeley Group Holdings posted a nearly 10% jump in annual profit.
* LIONTRUST: British asset manager Liontrust reported lower annual profit.
* HALFORDS: Britain's Halfords posted 38% fall in annual profit.
* RESTAURANT GROUP: UK's The Restaurant Group said CFO Kirk Davis will leave the company.
* VODAFONE: Britain telecoms company Vodafone hired investment bank Morgan Stanley to evaluate options for its Spanish unit, Spanish newspaper Expansion reported.
* GSK: GSK said its vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) showed strong long-term protection in older adults in late-stage trial.
* FINANCIALS ACQUISITION CORPORATION: Financials Acquisition Corporation said it would seek shareholder permission next month for more time to pursue an acquisition target in insurance sector.
* INFLATION: The Bank of England has a lot to learn from the recent surge in inflation in order to prepare for future shocks that will hit Britain's economy, the head of the BoE's oversight board said.
* RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto said that it had reopened a rail line at its Western Australian operations after a train carrying iron ore near the port of Dampier derailed at the weekend.
* FINE: Britain has fined more than 200 companies, including top retailers WH Smith, Marks & Spencer and Argos, for failing to pay their lowest paid staff the minimum wage between 2017 and 2019.
* MORTGAGE: British finance minister Jeremy Hunt will hold a meeting with Britain's major banks on Friday to discuss how they can help homeowners hit by rising mortgage costs.
