(Alliance News) - Frontier IP Group PLC on Tuesday said that its portfolio company, Alusid Ltd, has launched its first range of mass-produced wall tiles with Topps Tiles PLC.

Frontier, a specialist in commercialising intellectual property, said that Topps Tiles has agreed with Alusid to produce a range of wall tiles from sustainable materials.

The tiles, which are now available in four colours online and in stores, are made from Alusid's 91% recycled industrial waste called Principle.

Buying Director of Tim Tatlock said: "The Alusid-made Principle range combines high-quality and good looks with a level of recycled content among the highest in the industry... This is only the start of our relationship with Alusid, and we look forward to developing new products with the company in the years to come."

Alasdair Bremner, Alusid's chief executive officer said: "The launch of Principle with Topps Tiles is a huge step forward for Alusid into mass production and scalability and is the result of many years hard work from our team."

Topps Tiles Limited was closed 1.0% higher at 50.00 pence in London on Tuesday.
