Toyo Suisan Kaisha, Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2019. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY net sales of JPY net sales of JPY 198,345 million against JPY 196,451 million for the same period last year. Operating profit was JPY 11,664 million against JPY 11,572 million for the same period last year. Ordinary profit was JPY 13,229 million against JPY 12,665 million for the same period last year. Profit was JPY 9,731 million against JPY 8,812 million for the same period last year. EPS was JPY 93.72 against JPY 83.52 for the same period last year.
For the period year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 420,000 million, operating profit of JPY 27,000 million, ordinary profit of JPY 29,500 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 21,000 million and EPS of JPY 205.62.

The Seafood segment is engaged in the purchase, processing and sale of seafoods in domestic and overseas markets. The Overseas Instant Noodles segment provides cup and bag noodles mainly in the United States and Mexico. The Domestic Instant Noodles segment provides cup and bag noodles in Japan. The Low Temperature Food segment manufactures and sells steamed and roasted buckwheat noodles, raw ramen, boiled noodles, frozen noodles and commercial cocking products. The Processed Food segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed foods such as aseptic packaged rice, retort rice, soup, dashi-no-moto, bonito flakes, and paste products in Japan. The Frozen and Cold Storage segment is engaged in the provision of storage and freezing services. The Company also involves in the bag lunch, prepared food businesses.
