Duck Creek Technologies, an insurance software company carved out from Accenture PLC in 2016, filed for an initial public offering.

Apax Partners bought a majority stake in the 2016 transaction. Duck Creek said in June that it received a $230 million investment from Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management, Whale Rock Capital Management and others.

The company said revenue was $153 million for the nine months ended May 31, up 24% from the comparable prior-year period.

The filing lists a placeholder amount of $200 million. The company applied for listing on Nasdaq under the symbol DCT.
