The ATM Industry Association announced Monday that ACI Worldwide Inc., a provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, has broadened its relationship with the association as a global sponsor. ACI, along with other ATMIA members, will work to advance the global ATM industry.

An international company headquartered in Naples, Florida with offices in 39 countries, ACI powers electronic payments for more than 5,100 organizations around the world. More than 1,000 of the largest banks and financial intermediaries, as well as thousands of global merchants, rely on ACI to execute $14 trillion each day in payments and securities, according to the press release.

"Global leaders like ACI Worldwide boost ATMIA's international mission to promote and protect ATMs and the services they provide to millions of customers," ATMIA CEO Mike Lee said in the release. "ACI's knowledge and expertise will be an asset to our entire global industry, and we look forward to working with them on a range of industry issues across the world."
