Adesso : takes over Collogia Trianova GmbH and updates in|sure with a module for company pensions and working time accounts

adesso insurance solutions GmbH has taken over the full business operations of Cologne-based Collogia Trianova GmbH with effect from 31 August 2018. Collogia Trianova has more than 30 employees. In doing so, adesso is expanding its own range of products and services in the field of company pensions and working time accounts, and is acquiring the CollPhir^® software solution, which has already had years of success on the market. CollPhir^® will be integrated into adesso's in|sure product family as part of the business merger, which means that the standard software solution for the insurance industry will be expanded to include the additional functions. The former CEO of Collogia Trianova, Dr Michael Höhnerbach, will be a new addition to the management of adesso insurance solutions and will continue to develop services in the field of company pensions, working time accounts and actuarial consulting. A lower seven-figure valuation was agreed upon based on defined conditions.

Collogia Trianova has been operating in the field of pension management since 1995 and is one of Germany's leading solution providers in the area of company pensions. Integrating solutions like this has become increasingly important, especially in the life insurance segment. As a result of the merger, adesso insurance solutions will benefit directly from tried and tested software, expertise and additional customer relationships, which will allow it attain a strong positioning in the future field of company pensions. The software solution that adesso insurance solutions GmbH has also acquired is used by a number of renowned customers such as Deka Bank, LBBW and Deutsche Post. Together with adesso insurance solutions and the adesso Group, the former Collogia Trianova will be able to realise much bigger projects and target additional customers. The now broader developer base will be used to adapt the solution to meet new market requirements and expand the range of services. The integration will also take place spatially, which means that employees will soon be working with their colleagues at adesso's Cologne location.
