Following a successful partnership of 9 years, Admiral Group has renewed its sponsorship deal with Chapter until the end of 2021.

Admiral has supported Chapter since 2010, and its continued support will further contribute to producing and providing a varied artistic programme for the people of Cardiff, and beyond.

Over the years, Admiral employees have been involved in many opportunities including creative workshops, access to exclusive events, previews and film screenings. These sponsorship benefits will continue alongside staff discount cards as part the renewed partnership.

Elaina Johnson, Director of External Relations at Chapter, 'We're delighted that Admiral has chosen to continue its support for Chapter for a further 3 years. 2020 will be the 10-year anniversary of this unique partnership which not only provides direct financial assistance to the charity, but also levers additional investment from other funders.

'In addition, the unique and forward-thinking nature of the relationship focuses on employee engagement and we have been thrilled to see more and more Admiral staff visiting Chapter each year and benefitting from the agreement. Long may it continue!'

Natalie Grimwards, Communications Manager said, 'We've supported Chapter since 2010 and we are really excited to renew our sponsorship for another 3 years. The partnership is really popular with our staff. From weekly cinema tickets, special screenings and creative workshops which give them time away from their day job, our staff really embrace the many benefits we receive in return for the funding.'

In August 2019, Admiral teams took part in a plaster relief workshop with interdisciplinary artist Richard Higlett, where they spent a day using textures and shapes from flowers and plants found in the Chapter gardens to cast a unique clay plaques to take home. In previous years Admiral staff have also taken part in animation, photography, drawing and textile workshops.

Richard Higlett said, 'The workshop's aim was to get some time out outside of the usual working environment, try something new, get messy, relax, socialise and take home something that is an expression of their individual creativity. Creativity is in all of us and the group came up with some amazing objects using plaster and clay. It was a great day supporting the Admiral team to make garden plaques.'
