Madrid, 25 May 2018.- ADVEO, the leading company in Europe in the office equipment, school material and stationery supplies market, has trusted the cognitive intelligence engine developed by the Spanish company GNOSS to transform its business and achieve improved results.

The technology company, based in Logroño, has developed a specific solution for ADVEO based on its own cognitive intelligence engine. Thanks to this system, the multinational will be able to adapt using a predictive model to the hundreds of suppliers which feed its catalogue, formed of more than 250.000 references in the nine countries in which it operates.

This technology will allow ADVEO to optimise the sales possibilities of its products as well as their price, rotation and frequency, using the knowledge acquired by the solution developed by GNOSS. In order to make the management of the overall process more efficient, the development offered by the Riojan company combines semantic representation technology, networking of internal and external data, knowledge graphs and queries systems.

The GNOSS team, a pioneer in web semantics and cognitive technologies in Spain, is to present its new cognitive intelligence engine to ADVEO suppliers in Munich and Paris this week, on the 24th and 25th of May. The CEO of the technology company, Ricardo Alonso Maturana, believes in the results that the work will have in ADVEO's digital transformation. 'We have turned a very vast set of distributed and heterogenous data, both within and outside of the company, into reliable information through which difficult decision can be made quickly and securely', he assured.
