CHANGES IN SUPERVISORS

Agricultural Bank of China Limited (the "Bank") hereby announces the following changes in the supervisors of the Bank.

1. LEAVING OFFICE OF SUPERVISOR REPRESENTING EMPLOYEES OF THE BANK

The term of office of Mr. LIU Chengxu expired on 5 July 2019. To ensure the number of supervisor representing employees of the Bank (the "Supervisor Representing Employees") represents at least one-third of the number of the members of the board of supervisors of the Bank (the "Board of Supervisors"), Mr. LIU Chengxu continued to perform his duties as a supervisor. As Mr. WU Gang was elected as a Supervisor Representing Employees at the employee representatives' meeting of the Bank on 9 October 2019, the proportion of the Supervisor Representing Employees has met the requirement mentioned above, and Mr. LIU Chengxu has ceased to serve as the Supervisor Representing Employees and the member of the Due Diligence Supervision Committee.

Mr. LIU Chengxu has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board of Supervisors, and there are no other matters which need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders and creditors of the Bank in connection with his leaving office.

2. ELECTION OF SUPERVISOR REPRESENTING EMPLOYEES

On 9 October 2019, Mr. WU Gang was elected as a Supervisor Representing Employees at the employee representatives' meeting of the Bank. Please refer to the appendix to this announcement for the biographical details of Mr. WU Gang.

The Board of Supervisors hereby confirmed that Mr. WU Gang was appointed as a Supervisor Representing Employees with a term of office of three years since 9 October 2019.

As at the date of this announcement, Mr. WU Gang does not hold any shares of the Bank. Mr. WU Gang will receive his remuneration including salaries, bonuses and other benefits from the Bank in accordance with his position in the Bank. The Bank will disclose the remuneration of the supervisors in the annual report each year.

Save as disclosed in this announcement Mr. WU Gang does not hold any directorship in any other listed companies or takes up any post in any affiliated companies of the Bank in the past three years, nor does he have any relationship with any other director, supervisor, senior management, substantial shareholder or controlling shareholder of the Bank. Save as disclosed in this announcement, Mr. WU Gang does not have any equity interest in the Bank within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance of Hong Kong.

Save as disclosed above, there is no other information relating to the appointment of Mr. WU Gang that shall be disclosed pursuant to Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited nor any matters which need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Bank.

APPENDIX

BIOGRAPHIC DETAILS OF MR. WU GANG

Mr. WU Gang, male, born in June 1965, obtained his master degree from Tianjin University specialising in management engineering and is a senior economist. He has been serving as a supervisor representing employees of Agricultural Bank of China Limited since October 2019. He previously served as the assistant to the general manager and the deputy general manager of the corporate banking department of the Agricultural Bank of China, the general manager of the Big Client department/business department and concurrently the member of party committee and vice president of the Beijing Branch. He served as the secretary of party committee and president of the Henan Branch in June 2014. He has been the general manager of audit office of the Head Office since May 2018.
