The Air France-KLM Group presents its corporate social responsibility report which highlights the results, commitments and actions implemented for its sustainable transition. In 2019, Air France-KLM is once again the leader in its sector in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

Air France is committed to responsible travel

As part of its Horizon 2030 programme, Air France has set itself the ambitious objective of reducing its CO2 emissions per passenger-kilometre by 50% by 2030 - compared with 2005 - thanks to the introduction of new-generation aircraft into its fleet, innovations in terms of eco-piloting and the gradual use of bio-fuels. These strategic choices are supported in particular by a partnership with the Solar Impulse Foundation, which will accelerate the ecological transition towards sustainable aviation. In addition, the dynamic created by the Air France Group's activities plays a major role in the economic and social life of the regions where it operates, notably through support for local businesses, tourism, solidarity programmes and the promotion of diversity.

Anne Rigail said: 'The current crisis has highlighted the value of our role as an airline and the commitment, professionalism and solidarity of all Air France staff. We have flown citizens from the four corners of the world back home, as well as essential medical and health supplies. We have also carried out actions of solidarity in favour of care workers and those most in need. I would like to thank all Air France staff for their exemplary dedication. We have deployed exceptional resources to meet our commitments. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our utmost priority. When this crisis is over, we will be more determined than ever to be the pioneers of a more sustainable aviation industry, to innovate and reinvent ourselves to once again connect people, economies and cultures.'
