Airbus SE said Friday that its Airbus Corporate Jets unit, known as ACJ, received an order from Lufthansa Technik for two A321LR jets.

The European plane maker said the long-range narrowbody aircraft will be operated by the German air force.

"Lufthansa Technik has now placed a total order of five Airbus aircraft on behalf of the German government: three ACJ350-900s and two A321LRs," Airbus said.
