Alacer Gold Corp is an intermediate gold producer. The Company operates in one reportable operating segment consisting of mining, development and exploration of mineral deposits in Turkey. It holds interest in the Copler Gold Mine (Copler) in Turkey. Copler is located in east-central Turkey in the Erzincan Province, approximately 1,100 kilometers southeast from Istanbul and 550 kilometers east from Ankara. Its Copler project is an epithermal gold-silver-copper deposit. The Copler plant has the capacity to process approximately 17,000 tons per day of oxide ore. It also operates the Sulfide Plant. It also owns the Cakmaktepe Project, which is located approximately five kilometers (km) from the Copler Gold Mine.
