The Altona Village Board voted unanimously to have village attorney Dawn Connolly draw up an ordinance to put the lots at 105 and 107 South Depot up for bid.
The board had several options to sell the lot, one was to have it appraised.
Mayor Derrick Appell checked with Hier and Associates of Galva and the cost would have been $500 for the appraisal.
In other board business:
▪ Board member Ryan West reported that Stark County Ambulance met with several board members, and there would be several more meetings to find out what service they could offer Altona.
Altona officials also are checking if there would be a way to have their own ambulance service.
▪ A notice was read from Ameren that they would be trimming trees in the village.
