Aon plc (NYSE: AON), the leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, reinsurance and health solutions, today announces that Lars Thomas, Manging Director at Aon, has been recognised by ACORD in its Top Ten InsurTech Leaders list for his collaboration with fellow InsurTech Leader Haug Scharnowski, Head of Finance Operations, Zurich NA, in projects that utilise ACORD standards.
Each year, ACORD, the global standards-setting body for the insurance industry, speaks to industry stakeholders and evaluates vision, impact, and execution to identify the Top Ten Leaders with the greatest current and potential ability to change the industry through InsurTech, based on tangible industry outcomes.
