Exercise of Options

Archipelago Resources plc ("Archipelago" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that the 6,178,301 share options held by PT Rajawali Corporation ("Rajawali") have now been exercised at the price of 12.5 pence per ordinary share.

Following exercise of the options Rajawali now holds 306,230,663 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") representing 52.64% (previously 52.13%) of the issued share capital of the Company.

The Company has applied for the 6,178,301 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected on 31 July 2013.

As a result of this share issue, the Company now has in issue 581,710,936 Ordinary Shares, each with voting rights attached.

The figure of 581,710,936 should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
