Appointment of R. Kipp deVeer to the Board of Directors; Departure of John Kissick



Effective February 11, 2020, John Kissick has resigned from the board of
directors (the "Board") of Ares Management Corporation (the "Company"). Mr.
Kissick's decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Company on
any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices. The Board has
appointed R. Kipp deVeer as a Class II director to fill the vacancy created by
Mr. Kissick's departure. Mr. deVeer will serve as a director until his successor
is duly elected and qualified or until the earlier of his death, resignation or
removal.
