The long-awaited grand re-opening of B&M's Runcorn store on Trident Retail Park has arrived.

The original store closed on May 17th and a much larger unit on the same retail park is now our new home, with more space for more bargains!

As part of the opening day process, colleagues nominated local charity, Mind, to be given some VIP treatment. They helped unveil the new store alongside the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Chris Rowe.

The charity offers a variety of different services to support people suffering with mental health issues within the local community. This can include one-to-one support, befriending, social groups and activities, as well as one off events, open sessions and short course.

In addition to helping to open the new store, the charity were given £250 worth of vouchers to spend.

The store manager, David Concannon, said: 'The team from Mind really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.

'We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.'

He also commented: 'Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, so we can't wait to show customers their brand new B&M.'
