"Asset management is our art" - Baloise hits the ground running with Asset Management branding campaign

Basel, 23 August 2019. Baloise is known for its commitment to the arts and culture with the Baloise Art Prize. Drawing inspiration from this, Baloise Asset Management's new branding campaign focuses on the art of asset management. This is reflected not only in its visual implementation by a famous Swedish artist, but also in the resolute promise to put customers first.

"Asset management is our art" - that is the motto at Baloise Asset Management this autumn. This is not in reference to Baloise's commitment to the arts and culture, but to our decades of experience and expertise in the management of insurance assets and third-party customer assets.

"A strong customer focus based on cooperative partnership, long-term investment horizons, risk-consciousness and parallel interests form the core of this new campaign, the goal of which is to set Baloise apart from the competition", explains Matthias Henny, CIO of the Baloise Group.

The campaign aims to boost awareness of parallel interests among both institutional and private investors: Instead of pursuing short-term trends Baloise invests both its own money and that of its third-party customers with a long-term horizon. The objective of this is to increase long-term return opportunities and minimise risks. Investing its customers' assets responsibly and risk-consciously is ultimately the art of Baloise Asset Management.

The creative visualisation was implemented by Andreas Wannerstedt, Swedish designer and motion graphic artist. The computer-animated graphics are captivating - you could watch for hours. At the same time, they have a reassuring effect, conveying a sense of security. "That's what we want to reflect: the security that we offer our customers. Customers can rely on our long-standing expertise", says Janet Thierry, Head of Marketing & Communication at Baloise Asset Management.

2019 campaign period

The marketing drive is focused mainly on digital channels. The campaign is set to run continuously from the middle of August to the middle of December, primarily on Swiss financial information platforms. And to give the campaign a regional emphasis, advertisement boards have been put up in Basel where the Baloise Head Office is located.

Website given a new look

The launch of the campaign coincides with a fresh new look for the Baloise Asset Management website. In addition to changing the content management system and optimising the structure of the website, the new brand identity has been incorporated in the imagery as well.
