Bank of China : Statement on the Use of Proceeds of Bank of China’s offshore Sustainability Series Bonds (as of 31st Mar., 2019)

Bank of China Limited ('BOC') hereby confirms that as of March 31st 2019, the proceeds of BOC's 5 offshore Sustainability Series Bonds are allocated in alignment with Bank of China Limited Sustainability Series Bonds Management Statement. As long as BOC's Sustainability Series Bonds are outstanding, more detailed information on the allocation of proceeds, the environmental and/or social performance will be disclosed on BOC's official website prior to the end of April each year.
