Bank of Marin Bancorp : Continues to Grow Its Commercial Banking Team

Adds three new officers in Santa Rosa and Oakland.

NOVATO, CA - (August 23, 2016) - Bank of Marin continues to expand its commercial banking presence across the Bay Area with the additions of Michael Gast, Philippe Aghajanian and Rebecca Poon.

'With their combined experience in managing and growing customer relationships, while managing risk, we continue to strengthen our position as a leader in commercial banking across the Bay Area.'

As a Vice President and Senior Commercial Banking Officer, Michael Gast brings recent experience as a senior relationship manager with middle market commercial and industrial clients to the Bank's Middle Market Group in Santa Rosa. His focus was on food and beverage, manufacturing and consumer goods customers in the North Bay. A graduate of George Washington University with a BBA in International Business, Michael earned an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.

Phil Aghajanian joins Bank of Marin as a Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer in Oakland. With over 14 years of experience in the industry, including 9 years of commercial real estate experience, he was most recently a commercial banking relationship manager responsible for Business C&I loans for the acquisition, expansion or startup of a franchise business. Phil completed his undergraduate work at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, earning a BS in Business Administration.

Rebecca Poon joins the Middle Market Group in Santa Rosa as a Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer. Rebecca has over 12 years of lending and banking experience in the North Bay with a strong focus on SBA lending, commercial real estate, and commercial & industrial lending. Prior to joining Bank of Marin, she worked as a Relationship Manager in Santa Rosa. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance from Drake University.
