Dear Shareholders,

protecting the health of our shareholders, shareholder representatives, and employees is a top priority for Beiersdorf.

Against the background of the ongoing global spread of the coronavirus and after carefully weighing all aspects, especially the health of all participants and respective orders of the responsible health authorities, Beiersdorf AG has decided not to hold the company's Annual General Meeting as scheduled on April 29, 2020, but to postpone it to a later date in 2020.

The Robert Koch Institute and the responsible health authorities in Germany assume that infections will increase significantly in the coming weeks.

In consideration of the further course of infection developments, Beiersdorf AG will promptly set a new date and invite shareholders to the Annual General Meeting in 2020. We are certain that this approach is in the interests of all shareholders and the company.

Thank you for your understanding. I am looking forward to welcome you to our Annual General Meeting later this year.

Stefan De Loecker
Chairman of the Executive Board
