Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce that Colin Bird has joined the board of BMR with immediate effect as a non-executive Director. Mr Bird has been nominated by Jubilee Metals Group PLC ("Jubilee") as a result of its equity interest in BMR exceeding 15per cent in accordance with the agreement reached between BMR and Jubilee, as announced on 15 January 2018.

Mr Bird (aged 74) is a seasoned mining engineer who has developed and managed a number of listed mining companies diverse in countries and commodities. His experience will be a benefit in developing current assets and assisting his fellow directors to enhance value for shareholders.

Mr Bird holds an interest in 506,250 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.21 per cent of the existing issued ordinary shares. As noted above, Mr Bird is a director, and chairman, of Jubilee Metals Group Plc, which has an interest of 29.01 per cent in the Company and is expected shortly to enter into a joint venture and operating agreement with the Company in respect of the Kabwe operations.

There is no other information that is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules for Companies.
