(Ehningen/Sant'Agata Bolognese, 9 October 2018) To enable it to get even closer to its customers' locations, Bertrandt has opened a new site in Italy. From there, the company will manage projects for its customer Lamborghini and other local OEMs.

The technical focus at the new facility in Sant'Agata Bolognese is on production and quality support and the construction of testing systems and technology demonstrators. More than 30 employees will be working at the site. In addition, projects will be managed from the German sites with regard to the fields of modelling and testing as well as through competences in the subject areas of electronics development, production and quality.

'The decision to open a site in Sant'Agata Bolognese is based on our sustained business development. It will enable us to further intensify our cooperation with our customer Lamborghini and also to carry out projects with other local OEMs,' said Dirk Zimmer, Managing Director of the new facility.

Bertrandt has been working together with Lamborghini for more than seven years now, controlled from the German sites in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm. The two companies have already successfully completed several projects. To give just one example, Bertrandt supported the Italian car maker in developing the electronics for the Lamborghini Aventador.
