Biophytis SA (Euronext Growth Paris: ALBPS), a clinical-stage biotechnology company with a primary focus on the development of its lead drug candidate, Sarconeos (BIO101), for the treatment of neuromuscular diseases, today announced that it will participate in the 6th China Healthcare Summit organized by BioCentury and BayHelixwhich, The conference is being held in Shanghai (China) from the 18th to 20th of November 2019.

Management will take part in 1-on-1 meetings at the conference to present the developments of its lead drug candidate, Sarconeos (BIO101), currently in a Phase 2b clinical study (SARA-INT) for the treatment of sarcopenia. Sarconeos (BIO101) is also being developed for the treatment of Duchene muscular dystrophy (DMD), a severe type of muscular dystrophy.
