Boryszew : Awarded the Title of the National Champion

Boryszew S.A. was ranked 10th in the 'National Champions that Poland Needs' report recently published by 'Polityka Insight', an economic and political research portal. The company was awarded for its performance in four major categories - Economy, Sector, International Position and Innovation. Apart from Boryszew, the Top Ten also comprised KGHM, PKN Orlen, PGNiG, Ciech, Synthos, Polpharma, Asseco Poland, Comarch and Grupa Azoty.

According to the authors, national champions are characterised by their prime importance for the country's economy, expressed in terms of their significant contribution to its economic and political potential, as well as by their leading role in the socio-economic development. National champions are the cultural linchpin of the society who inspire entrepreneurship and economic growth; they are also the country's trademark abroad. National champions are identified as companies that are very active internationally, have a strong position in their sector and invest heavily in R&D projects and innovative solutions. Boryszew has the great honour to be included in that highly respectable group of leaders of the Polish economy.
