Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with Campanas de America Mariachi Band Coming to Ameristar Kansas City May 4

WHAT: Guests are invited to celebrate Cinco De Mayo at Ameristar Kansas City on Saturday, May 4, with an exciting performance in the Star Pavilion, featuring the music of Campanas de America. An innovative twelve-piece musical ensemble mariachi band, Campanas de America combines traditional Mexican mariachi music with Latin and mainstream pop rhythms. Expanding in style from traditional mariachi sounds, the band highlights the use of diverse instruments including the accordion, keyboards, and a full drum kit.

Prior to the concert, a flavorful variety of traditional street tacos and dessert will be available for purchase on the Ameristar Kansas City Streetscape for $2.50. Offerings will include:

• Entrees: Pork Carnitas; Chicken Tinga; Chicharrrones and Beef Barbacoa
• Condiments: Salsa Roja; Salsa Verde; Roasted Jalapeno Guacamole Salsa; Pickled Onion and Pickled Jalapenos
• Dessert: Fried Churros
