DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR IN RESPECT OF

RENEWAL OF NON-EXEMPT CONTINUING CONNECTED TRANSACTION

Reference is made to the announcement (the "Announcement") dated 26 November 2018 by BYD Electronic (International) Company Limited in respect of the New Continuing Connected Transaction Agreements entered into between the Group and the BYD Group. Unless otherwise stated, capitalized terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

As set out in the Announcement, it was expected that a circular containing, among other things, further details of the Non-exempt Continuing Connected Transaction and the notice convening the EGM would be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 12 December 2018.

As additional time is required to prepare and finalise certain information to be included in the circular, the date of despatch of the circular will be postponed to on or before 24 December 2018.
