Caracol Television SA is a Colombia-based company primarily engaged in the radio and television broadcasting. It is also active in the entertainment production. The Company owns two television channels: Canal Caracol, which is broadcasted in Colombia, and Caracol Internacional, which broadcasts the Company's productions mainly in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Spain. In addition, it operates the radio station Radio Latina, a radio station which broadcasts its programmes online. The Company's productions include a variety of series (Escobar, el patron del mal; La mujer del presidente; El cartel, la guerra total), soap operas (Amor de Carnaval, La teacher de ingles, Primera dama), reality shows and contests (Yo me llamo, Un minuto para ganar, El precio es correcto), children's programs (Play zone, Club 10) and news bulletins, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's major shareholder was Prime Value Service SA.
