Carrefour continues to grow with the opening of new Pedestrian Drives in the capital, as announced a year ago by CEO Alexandre Bompard. At the end of January, 31 Pedestrian Drive outlets will be added to the existing offering. Since April 2018, Parisians have been able to enjoy all the choice and low prices of hypermarkets right where they live on more than 15,000 everyday products.

Effective and high-performance convenience service for customers
As part of its Carrefour 2022 transformation plan, the retailer wants to meet all its customers' needs, providing them with an optimum purchasing experience. This is why back in April 2018, Carrefour launched its first Pedestrian Drive stores in Paris and the Lyon region. By the end of this month, it will have a total of 42 Pedestrian Drive outlets - 31 in Paris and 11 in the Lyon region.

A convenience service that can be accessed in just a few clicks
With Pedestrian Drives, customers submit their orders on Carrefour.fr or on the app, and can then pick up their shopping the next day from the store nearest to where they live. Through this service, Carrefour is bringing hypermarkets into town centres, combining all their advantages (wide product offering, competitive prices) with those of convenience stores.
To prepare the orders that customers pick up from their Pedestrian Drive outlets, Carrefour has a major asset: its order-preparation platforms for getting them ready as effectively as possible.
