NEW YORK - June 18, 2019 - Andrew Herreria has been named Senior Vice President, Human Resources, CBS Global Distribution Group, it was announced today by Laurie Rosenfield, Chief People Officer, CBS Corporation, and Armando Nuñez, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Global Distribution Group and Chief Content Licensing Officer, CBS Corporation. Herreria is based in Los Angeles and reports to Rosenfield and Nuñez. Herreria is succeeding Cassie Thomas, who retired last month as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, CBS Corporation, following 21 years with the Company.

In his new role, Herreria has oversight of all human resources strategy for CBS Global Distribution Group, supporting domestic and international distribution as well as first-run productions. He will also focus on programs and processes, cultural and leadership development, employee education and development, and compensation and benefits for the division.

Herreria joins CBS from Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation in Los Angeles where over his nine-year tenure he advised senior corporate and divisional leadership on a litany of human resources strategies and initiatives. Prior to that, he held key human resources positions at IPG MediaBrands, Acacia Research Corporation and Virgin Entertainment group.

Herreria graduated with a degree in organizational management from the University of La Verne in La Verne, Calif.
