NEW YORK - Nov. 13, 2018 - CBS Experiences (CBSX), the Company's new experiential events division, today announced that David Paschkes has joined the group as Senior Vice President, Head of Partnerships. Paschkes will be based in New York and will report to Rich Lobel, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, CBS Experiences.

In this role, Paschkes will be responsible for bringing CBS Experiences' calendar of events to marketers looking for creative ways to grow their brand value with CBS fans across multiple platforms, including live events, social media, streaming and on-air in collaboration with departments across CBS Corporation, such as marketing, sales and programming.

'The number of brands embracing experiential marketing is growing,' said Lobel. 'It's gaining broad recognition as an effective way to connect with audiences and fans in a unique, targeted and powerful way. David's entrepreneurial spirit and vast marketing experience will easily translate into finding new and exciting ways for brands to engage with CBS fans in a new way.'

Before joining CBSX, Paschkes worked at Conde Nast as Vice President, Agency and Partnerships and as Vice President of Revenue for brands including GQ, Wired, Pitchfork and Golf Digest. In his most recent position, David was responsible for managing executive relationships and generating advertising and sponsorship revenue across several leading advertising holding companies for all 28 Conde Nast brands. In this role, he partnered with the company's programmatic, social, and video teams to evangelize and sell Conde Nast's solutions in the marketplace.

Prior to Conde Nast, Paschkes served as Chief Executive Officer of DIDiT, Inc, a company he founded in 2014. While there, he guided the product strategy and development for iOS mobile apps and websites as well as secured content distribution relationships with major brands including Conde Nast, Time Inc., Hearst, Thrillist, CBS Local and Mashable.

Paschkes has also held senior executive positions at TouchTunes, VEVO, Fantasy Sports Ventures, Yahoo! and Univision over his 20-plus year career in digital media.

Paschkes graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and international business. He resides in Westchester, N.Y. with his wife and two children.

Since its recent launch, CBS Experiences has produced successful events, including CBS SPORTS FRIDAY NIGHT TAILGATE, a ticketed event that featured an entertaining and engaging session with CBS Sports' Sunday pregame show host James Brown, along with analysts Phil Simms, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and Nate Burleson. CBSX's inaugural event, AN EVENING with CBS SUNDAY MORNING LIVE, was hosted by Jane Pauley and featured the show's correspondents in conversation with top newsmakers from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, the arts, science, technology, politics and culture.
