Brilon, August 10, 2018: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, registered a rise in revenue of 4.6% supported by growth in all segments in the first half of 2018, taking the total to EUR 286.4 million (previous year EUR 273.8 million). The consolidated operating result (EBIT) of EUR 7.0 million was likewise up on the prior-year figure of EUR 5.8 million. Earnings per share (EPS) came to EUR 0.06 (previous year EUR 0.12), reflecting the reduced financial result. The measures kicked off in 2017 to strengthen the position in the German heating market began to have a positive effect in the period under review, and further progress was made with the ongoing expansion of international business. On this basis, CENTROTEC is confident that it will be able to absorb the burdens from the current upward trend in commodity prices and confirms the full-year forecast. For the 2018 financial year, as before the expectation is that organic revenue growth will take total revenue to EUR 600 to 620 million and that the operating result (EBIT) will be slightly higher, year on year, at EUR 30 to 32 million.
