Cherat Packaging Limited (CPL) is a Pakistan-based producer and supplier of packaging material to the cement industry. The Company’s main business activity is manufacturing, marketing and sale of cement with the brand names of Cherat and Cherat Khyber. The Company operates through two divisions: Bags manufacturing and Flexible packaging. Bags manufacturing division is involved in Kraft paper and polypropylene bag manufacturing. Flexible packaging division is involved in extrusion, flexo graphic and rotogravure printing. The Company has an annual production capacity of approximately 265 million paper bags and 195 million polypropylene (PP) bags. Based on the specific requirements of its customers, it produces various varieties of cement bags. Its plant is located at Village Lakrai, District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
