As disclosed in the proxy statement filed by Chevron Corporation ("Chevron") with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on April 15, 2019, for Chevron's 2019 Annual Meeting to be held on May 29, 2019, Ronald D. Sugar (a Chevron director and nominee for election at the 2019 Annual Meeting) serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Uber Technologies, Inc. On May 10, 2019, Uber Technologies began trading on the New York Stock Exchange. As a result, in addition to his service on Chevron's Board of Directors, Dr. Sugar's public company directorships now consist of Air Lease Corporation, Amgen Inc., Apple Inc., and Uber Technologies, Inc.
