Notice of Redemption

Reference is made to the announcement of China Construction Bank Corporation (the "Issuer") dated 12 November 2014 regarding the issuance and the listing of the CNY2,000,000,000 at an initial interest rate of 4.90 per cent. Tier 2 Dated Capital Bonds due 2024 (the "Bonds").

Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Bonds (the "Terms and Conditions"), the Issuer has exercised the right to redeem all the Bonds outstanding on 12 November 2019 (the "Call Date") at their principal amount together with accrued interest to but excluding the Call Date.

The Issuer has already obtained the prior written ruling of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (the "CBIRC") on 5 September 2019 as required by the Terms and Conditions, and CBIRC has no objections in respect of the redemption of the Bonds. The Redemption Conditions have been satisfied.

Upon completion of the redemption on the Call Date, there will be no amounts outstanding and no further issuance in respect of the Bonds. Accordingly, the Issuer will make an application to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited for the withdrawal of the listing of the Bonds.
