Net Generation of Subsidiary Power Plants in the First Seven Months of 2018 Increased by 3.7%

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited ("CR Power", stock code: 0836)

today announced that total net generation of subsidiary power plants in July 2018 increased by 2.2% to 15,534,651MWh from 15,203,602MWh for the same period of 2017. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first seven months of 2018 increased by 3.7% to 92,415,465MWh compared to 89,116,862MWh for the same period last year.

On a same plant basis, total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the first seven months of 2018 increased by 1.1% compared to the same period of 2017.

Power plants located in Hubei, Hebei, Henan and Other provinces recorded 16.2% 8.0%2.4% and 8.8% increases year on year, respectively. Power plants located in Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces recorded 11.6% and 1.8% decreases year on year, respectively.

Million Tonnes

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited ("CR Power", stock code: 0836)

today announced that total coal production in July 2018 increased by 20.4% to 1.425 million tonnes from 1.184 million tonnes for the same period last year. Total coal production for the first seven months of 2018 increased by 8.4% to 8.786 million tonnes compared to 8.108 million tonnes for the same period last year.
