Net Generation of Subsidiary Power Plants in the First Six Months of 2018 Increased by 4.0%
China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited ("CR Power", stock code: 0836)
today announced that total net generation of subsidiary power plants in June 2018 decreased by 1.8% to 13,365,507MWh from 13,606,133MWh for the same period of 2017. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first six months of 2018 increased by 4.0% to 76,880,815MWh compared to 73,913,260MWh for the same period last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the first six months of 2018 increased by 1.1% compared to the same period of 2017. Power plants located in Hubei, Hebei, Henan and Other provinces recorded 17.2%, 8.9%, 4.4% and 7.3% increases year on year, respectively. Power plants located in Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces recorded 12.3% and 1.5% decreases year on year, respectively.

today announced that total coal production in June 2018 increased by 30.5% to 1.387 million tonnes from 1.063 million tonnes for the same period last year. Total coal production for the first six months of 2018 increased by 6.2% to 7.360 million tonnes compared to 6.934 million tonnes for the same period last year.
