China Shenhua Energy Co. (1088.HK) said Friday that its September coal production fell 13% on year and its sales declined 5.9%.
For the month, coal production was 21.0 million metric tons; coal sales volume was 37.0 million tons.
The fall in coal production was mainly due to lower output from three mines, where production was beset by issues, including the progress in renewing production certificates, the company said, adding it is taking measures to address them.
