INSIDE INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT

BID-WINNING OF "TECHNOLOGY TOP-RUNNER BASE" PROJECT

This announcement is made by China Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the inside information provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company is pleased to announce that, according to the officially announced "Competitive Work Plan Selection for Tongchuan Photovoltaic Power Generation Technology Top-runner Base in 2017", the Group and Trina Solar Company Limited jointly won the bid for Tongchuan Photovoltaic Power Generation Technology Top-runner Base Project (the "Project"), with an installed capacity of 250MW. According to the relevant requirements of the Technology Top-runner Base, the Project will be executed at photovoltaic power generation benchmark on-grid electricity price, its construction work will commence by the end of September 2018, and the Project will be completed and grid-connected by 30 June 2019.
