ANNOUNCEMENT ON KEY OPERATING DATA

This announcement is made regarding the operating data for November 2018 of the Group to be published on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The relevant key operating data was calculated based on the internal statistics of the Group, which may differ from the data disclosed in the relative periodic reports. Investors are hereby reminded of the risks which may result from inappropriate reliance upon or utilization of the relevant information.

This announcement is made regarding the operating data for November 2018 of China Southern Airlines Company Limited (the "Company") and its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Group") to be published on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

In November 2018, passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometres ("ASK")) of the Group increased by 12.21% as compared to the same period last year (a year-on-year ("YoY") basis). Of which, passenger capacity for domestic, regional and international routes increased by 11.31%, 13.01% and 14.36%, respectively as compared to the same period last year. Compared to the same period last year, passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometres ("RPK")) increased by 9.83%. Of which, passenger traffic for domestic, regional and international routes increased by 8.03%, 10.72% and 14.32%, respectively as compared to the same period last year. The passenger load factor was 80.56%, representing a decrease of 1.75 percentage points as compared to the same period last year. Of which, the passenger load factor for domestic, regional and international routes decreased by 2.45 percentage points, 1.61 percentage points and 0.03 percentage point, respectively, as compared to the same period last year.

In terms of cargo operations, in November 2018, cargo capacity (measured by available tonne kilometers ("ATK") - Cargo and Mail) increased by 9.66% as compared to the same period last year. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue tonne kilometres ("RTK") - Cargo and Mail) increased by 1.95% as compared to the same period last year. The cargo and mail load factor was 53.26%, representing a decrease of 4.03 percentage points as compared to the same period last year.

In November 2018, the Group has newly launched the following major route: Wuhan-Dalian-Wuhan route (seven flights per week) since 2 November 2018.

In November 2018, the Group had introduced 12 aircraft, including one B737-800 aircraft, six B737-8 aircraft, one B787-9 aircraft, three A320NEO aircraft and one A321NEO aircraft and had terminated the lease of two B737-800 aircraft. As of the end of November 2018, the Group operated a fleet of 827 aircraft as set out below:
