China Southern Airlines : Announcement

China Southern Airlines decided not to renew its contract with SkyTeam Alliance as of January 1, 2019 reflecting its strategic development, the changing trends of the global aviation industry and the evolution of alliances. We will work with SkyTeam to ensure a seamless transition completed by December 31, 2019 and hereby announce the following:

1. During the transition period, the passengers who have purchased China Southern Airlines tickets with travel dates up to and including December 31, 2019 will be entitled to the same services as SkyTeam Alliance currently offers;

2. During the transition period, the passengers who have purchased the SkyTeam products sold by China Southern Airlines and the China Southern Airlines products sold by the other SkyTeam member airlines will be entitled to the same connection, lounge services and frequent flyer mileage policies ;

3. During the transition period, China Southern Airlines will no longer sell SkyTeam's Sky Pass products.
