The Newport Beach, California-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 2 cents per share.

The provider of natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicle fleets posted revenue of $59.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.85. A year ago, they were trading at $2.56.
