Technology has an incredible ability to transform the way we experience the world and better our lives. We see this every day through our interactions with our employees, our customers, and our communities, and continue to be inspired to make the world more accessible to everyone.

That's why this Comcast Cares Day, 70+ of our technologists and engineers volunteered with Easterseals Southeastern Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia nonprofit committed to helping individuals with disabilities live more independent lives. Working with local high school students and representatives from Jefferson University, a team of volunteers developed three specialized, battery-operated cars and adapted more than 50 other interactive toys, including talking stuffed animals and musical instruments, for children who use Easterseals Southeastern Pennsylvania's services. Without these adjustments, these children are not typically able to use or play with these toys.

This video captures the unique spirit of the day and highlights how the project came together at the Comcast Technology Center, including the first test drive in the new cars for a 4-year-old girl, Ariel, and a 6-year-old boy, Tyrese. Learn more about the power of our partnership from Easterseals Southeastern Pennsylvania's Executive Director and CEO Carl Webster.
