Comet : Change in the management of the division X-Ray Systems

Dr. Detlef Steck, President of X-Ray Systems is leaving the Comet Group.
Dr. Matthias Barz will take over his tasks and responsibilities as Interim Manager immediately.
Dr. Detlef Steck, President of the X-Ray Systems division is leaving the company. The Board of Directors and Management would like to thank Detlef Steck for his contribution over the last two years and wish him all the best for the future in both his professional and personal life. Comet has already started looking for a successor.
Dr. Matthias Barz will take on Detlef Steck's tasks and responsibilities as Interim Manager and will also be a member of the Executive Committee of Comet Group during this same period of time.
Dr. Barz (55, German citizen), has a doctorate in Engineering as well as many years of management experience in global companies in machine and plant construction in the automotive, research, energy, and measurement and testing technology sectors.
