Regnier is one of 100 Emerging Leaders chosen by BAI to join its Emerging Leaders Network, which recognizes up-and-coming financial services leaders from around the world with less than 10 years of experience in the industry. The network provides learning, mentoring, networking and recognition opportunities to aid in the development and career success of these standouts.

In speaking to Stacy’s nomination, Patty Kellerhals, executive vice president, director of retail banking at Commerce Bank, said, “Stacy is a forward-thinking leader who has led revolutionary change in her three short years at Commerce. She joined us with 10 years of strategic planning experience and an insatiable curiosity for understanding ‘why.’ Stacy exhibits intelligent persistence in all her work, commands respect and is an innovative thinker. I congratulate her on this achievement and industry recognition.”

Stacy’s first assignment upon joining Commerce in 2014 was to lead the companywide initiative to transform the branch experience. Working with cross-functional partners, she directed the evolution of Commerce’s physical network strategy, honed the vision and execution plan to transition our staff model, coordinated process improvement and technology upgrades and crafted our communication strategy to ensure all stakeholders stay informed and engaged. Stacy’s work resulted in a more than 10% reduction in expenses while maintaining a customer satisfaction level of 94%.

Benefits of the BAI Emerging Leaders Network include Regnier’s attendance at the BAI Beacon in October for a unique learning and networking experience. She will also be able to participate in the year-round professional development community designed to provide relevant education, mentoring and networking opportunities and special recognition in a BAI Banking Strategies Special Report.

“It is our responsibility as leaders to provide unique opportunities and the resources to develop up-and-coming talent in the financial services industry,” said Debbie Bianucci, president and CEO of BAI. “The BAI Emerging Leaders Network comprises of distinguished, diverse rising stars in the industry who demonstrate unparalleled leadership characteristics. I look forward to helping and watching them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.”

Members of the BAI Emerging Leaders Network are self-nominated or nominated by a senior leader in their organization. For more information, please visit the BAI Emerging Leaders Network website.
