Copart : Announces 2019 Rebuild Challenge

DALLAS (May 17, 2019) - Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPRT), a global online vehicle auction company, announced the launch of its Sixth Annual Copart Rebuild Challenge.

The Copart Rebuild Challenge is a contest for car enthusiasts and automotive rebuilders around the United States to show how they have restored, customized or rebuilt a vehicle of their choice. Contestants can enter the Copart Rebuild Challenge at any time until 11:59 p.m. Central Time on July 3, by submitting before-and-after photos of their project to Copart.com/Rebuild. In addition, each entrant must include a caption with a brief description of their rebuild project. A Copart Membership is required for contest entry and may be obtained at no cost through the online registration form at Copart.com/Register.

This year's contest differs from previous years by introducing three distinct categories for entry: Restoration Builds, Custom Builds, and Powersports Builds. Each category presents different challenges and build styles, giving automotive rebuilders and enthusiasts of all types a chance to enter and win.

'We are extremely excited for the new iteration of the Copart Rebuild Challenge,' said Michelle Hoffman, Vice President of Marketing at Copart. 'In each of the new categories, rebuilders of all types can show off their projects and win big prizes.'

A panel of in-house Copart judges will choose finalists for each entry category, with a public vote thereafter to determine the winners of a $1,000 cash prize for each category. Copart's panel of in-house judges will choose a Best in Show entry from the category winners for an additional $1,000 cash prize and an exclusive trip to Dallas, Texas for an award ceremony.

'The Rebuild Challenge is our way of giving back to the community of rebuilders who take damaged vehicles and see their true potential,' said Hoffman. 'Whether it's customizing a vehicle or restoring it to its original condition, we want to give an opportunity to any enthusiast in the United States who has a project to submit.'
